I got 1400 words between 11:30 and 3…Then I channel surfed – not like me at all. Downstairs where we have only 23 channels. Up and down and down and up and through again. I made myself nuts doing this. The cat even got up and left. I think the thing is, I have a ton of ideas running through my head. And direction – which direction is a good thing; usually I have ideas and no direction. I suppose it’s time to make a list of working notes for this book and get the timeline started…And pray I keep everyone straight in this one. I’m playing with more primary characters than I usually try to tackle. I do have a list started of the primaries and their prevailing physical traits; that list comes in handy until I get to “know” everyone on a more even keel.

Appalachian gothic fiction writer - my works reflect a love of literature flavored by the darkness and magic residing in these ancient mountains. In my spare time, I Sim, I TikTok, I journal, but I always have a very strange sense of humor. I have lived away from the mountains and lived deep in the mountains. I currently live in Central Kentucky with my life partner and his cat. The mountains, their culture, their superstitions, their particular magics, will always be in my blood.
