Well, I made it into Houston – the flight came in half an hour early. The flight was good, mostly smooth. The cloud cover in Lexington was lo when we took off, so I didn’t get to see much of anything. But I got some beautiful pictures once we rose above the clouds. (will upload more as I take more!)
Last night I dreamed that Hypericon was held at the Chattanooga ChooChoo – and when we got there, the hotel had been completely gutted for remodeling. :smash: I have no idea what was up with that. lmao

Appalachian gothic fiction writer - my works reflect a love of literature flavored by the darkness and magic residing in these ancient mountains. In my spare time, I Sim, I TikTok, I journal, but I always have a very strange sense of humor. I have lived away from the mountains and lived deep in the mountains. I currently live in Central Kentucky with my life partner and his cat. The mountains, their culture, their superstitions, their particular magics, will always be in my blood.
