I groused all Summer and most of the Spring because I just wasn’t turning out the writing I had been. I dropped down to word counts in the 100s if anything at all. But this past week, I’ve been getting word counts in the 2100k range again, and I feel better. I have a ton of notes make to work from, too. More words flowing mean that more words are flowing – make sense? It does to me! I even have a review down and have another book off the shelf to read. I’m no longer floating in space. 😀 Meanwhile, I have something like eighteen shorts in my Apex Online submissions queue…
catching up, finally?

Appalachian gothic fiction writer - my works reflect a love of literature flavored by the darkness and magic residing in these ancient mountains. In my spare time, I Sim, I TikTok, I journal, but I always have a very strange sense of humor. I have lived away from the mountains and lived deep in the mountains. I currently live in Central Kentucky with my life partner and his cat. The mountains, their culture, their superstitions, their particular magics, will always be in my blood.
